In the summer of 2025, Aegean Echoes left its mark by implementing a unique initiative in the city of Ermoupolis: it opened the historic Kois Mansion and welcomed over two hundred visitors from diverse backgrounds. With host Andreas Kois, coordinator Thanos Karvouniaris, and guide Cynthia Tzima, we offered an experience that connected the island’s history, art, and contemporary life, turning the tours into a living narrative of Syros’ cultural soul.

We welcomed citizens, journalists, artists, world-renowned basketball stars, scientists, and personalities who participated in major summer events, such as the 3rd Syros Cultural Heritage Recording Festival, the AegeanBall Festival 2025, and the 5th Panhellenic Medical Education Conference “EPIL YΩ.” With the help of our partners, we created a unified interactive storytelling experience that bridged the past of Ermoupolis’ aristocrats and merchants with the island’s modern creative energy. Visitors didn’t just tour the monument’s spaces; they participated in an experience that combined art, music, and knowledge of its historical identity.

The response was enthusiastic: artists, journalists, athletes, scientists, and residents spoke about the team’s care and how the initiative revived the place’s past and memory. The action at Kois Mansion was a meaningful gathering of people who love Syros and believe its heritage deserves to be heard beyond the island’s borders.

With this effort, Aegean Echoes reaffirmed its mission: to highlight, unite, and carry the echo of the Aegean to every corner of the world.
